    Crooked Lake

Trends come and go. I remember about 6 or 7 years ago you couldn't hardly visit a bass fishing site without someone mentioning how hot Crooked Lake was at that time. I rarely see it mentioned any more. Is it still producing or has it waned as of late? I ask because I am going to be in the area in a couple of weeks and wondered if it was worth the time.

It is still good. was there a few weeks ago for a club tourny during one of our cold fronts. 16 lbs won. not big O weights but decent fish. The lady that runs the ramp said shiners have been doing very well.

Crooked is always a very good place for numbers of fish over the last few years. It seems like everyone gets a limit when my club goes there, but it rarely takes more than 12lbs or so to win. It's a fun lake and the fish love traps there.
