    Apopka Area boat ramps?

Looking for a boat ramp close by so I can get the Bobber in the water and see if it'll run before dragging it somewhere further only to find out it won't. I live about 3 miles N/NW of the 429/441 intersection and any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Jerry but I was hoping for "rea"l close because I'm not sure this motor is even gonna work after as long as it's been sitting and it's a bit of work for me to do by myself.

Dom can't you hook that motor up to water and start there in the yard? I would think all you need is a water muff you can put on the lower unit water intakes, with that you'll get flow through the cooler jacket and running at idle or a little above should be no problem.

I did that with mine ( on the muffs) had it running For about on hr sounded good Put it in the water and found out it had no mid range and one of the thru hual fitting were leaking. Sometime things don't show up till they hit the water . Got her fixed up now . Buy the way I found a small crack in the fitting, that took the 2nd time in the water to find

I had a neighbor with muffs try to help but his didn't fit an engine as small as mine. I'm going to dump the old gas and go over to Harris Oil on 441 and get some non ethanol gas then fill a large tub with water and just try running it like that. As long as the entier lower unit is submerged I should be alright, shouldn't I ?

Don you should be fine as long as the water intakes are under water. Also I wouldn't try to go to high in RPM if in gear, you'd probably blow all the water out of the tub...
