For the amount of money these guys pay flw to fish, it would be nice of them to hire 1 security guard to look over the boats at night...

+1 I can't stand thieves. They need their hands cut off when or if they get caught.

I'd rather be fishing cause girls fish too.

    Re: power pole theft (castoff33)

David Walker had his boat gutted one nite along with 6 others down at toho this week. They took rods, electronics, powerpoles. He had a lockrbar and they cut that to get in. Thats nice im sure it was someone around the sport doing this. They know exactly what to take.

you would think the local authorities would know this is a problem and patrol the area's more if they want the revenue in there area.
i gurantee when the elite series hits palatka this year there will be security.

It was a one time incident in That area. Its up to the tournament officials to make arrangements for extra patrol. Either through city halls or police departments. I'd love to tell you that officers have enough time to patrol everywhere but we don't. I agree it sucks but there is more to it than you think. I wish they would hire officers at these hotels.

don't get me wrong i'm cuttin down the law enforcement officers (alot of my friends are or were some type of officers) .someone needs to pay for the added security even if it meant a little more on the entry-fee.
