Lake Weir: Boat ramp info needed..

Hey guys, could someone who knows Lake Weir check my link and let me know if there's a "public" boat ramp there? I know there's a ramp down on "Little Weir", but I think ya may need some sort of pass to use it?? So, let me know if this link is a public ramp.. (or let me know if it's somewhere else.) Thanks for the help!!

EDIT: Never mind! That be her!! Google satellite uses an old picture,(And ya cant see any access to water, or a ramp) but when I clicked the directions link and added my adress, it let me open up a "picture" of the destination.. WOW, now that's a ramp!! It'll be added to the "Directions to Fl. boat ramps" thread here in a sec.!!

Yeah that's an old picture. The ramp is called Carney Island. It's a huge ramp with lot's of parking. There is also 2 parks there and some trails. It's $5 to park and is only open from first light till dark.

It is the nicest ramp I have ever seen in Florida.... and a great place to fish!!!

Launch there last year when I represented Mille's Boating Center in a Charity TX. It is a wonderful facility. If I remember correctly you have to make arrangements to have it opened for a early morning blast off.

Ed you are correct, it is possible to have it opened early for a tourney, I don't know who to call though.

Great facility and lake but, this time of year a ton of recreational boats.
