Water Levels Be Careful out there

My partners friend lives on the Harris chain and told him this AM that the water depth at the end of his dock is now knee deep. I noticed a lot of the ramp is out of the water at Hickory Point.

If anyone uses the ramp at Buzzards Beach watch out for a large rock or hard object in the middle of the launch basin. It isn't near the end of the ramp but is about midway in from the entrance to the basin. If you trim up and go slow you can get over it without hitting.

On our trip to Toho Thursday we never saw a water depth deeper than 3.5' from the city ramp to the Goblets cove area.

Hope we have a wet winter or we will lose launch access to many lakes by spring.

I was just on Toho too, and noticed the water level was a little lower than normal, but i had no problem finding 5-7' water. I also felt like i found 5-7' waves

Last week, me and Bill saw a bunch of pontoon and larger "pleasure" type boats resting "high and dry", beside their docks in the canals of the Harris Chain.. We surely need some rain, but arent we already past the "rainy season" for the year??

You bet we are, we don't usually get much rain if any from now until spring. But at the level the lakes are at now we will have a problem equal or worst to the drought of a few years ago in a few months.

Buddy's club had to cancel a Tx out of Camp Mack this year because of low water levels. They could not get a boat out to the canal from the ramp, they all had to use the over street ramp.

I fished Harris today, the water is about 4-5 lower than it was during our last rally.... The waves were huge and it was windy... at least it wasn't 35 degrees.

No worries, I left all the fish behind for y'all.... Although I only saw one today.
