    water pressure gauge Question

i took my boat out last weekend on the river and the water pressure gauge was not working. it was stuck at "pegged" all the way around. what might be the cause? i store my boat in the winter here in MN in an unheated garage like usual. i looked at it last night under the dash and all the wires and the tube looked like it was on tight. any ideas.

    thanks,

Your gage is shot! When they get water pushed all the way to the gage then freeze it distorts or ruptures the bellows. you will have to get a new one like many of us this year.

You need to unplug the water line from the gauge in the fall to keep it from freezing.
