NoAl Chapter - Sign up here to fish Neely-Henry on June 19th

The next monthly NoAl tournament will be held at Neely-Henry out of Coosa Landing in Gadsden on June 19th. We'll plan on beginning registration at 4:30 with "ease off" at first light which should be right at 5:00. Weigh in will be at 3:00pm unless voted differently at registration.

ReelDoc IM'd me last week and said that he's in the process of getting moved to Alabama and, while he might not be able to make the tournament, he would like to try and get to the weigh in to meet everyone. I'm guessing there will be one or two others than need help getting there as well. Anyway, I'd appreciate it if someone would post some decent directions. I've tried MapQuest, Bing, and every other online service I can think of but none of them can find that address. All I remember is that you turn right off of US 431 at the Waffle House just after you cross the bridge and turn right again in the Dollar General parking lot.

I think they've been working okay all along. I'm pretty much convinced it was operator error.

We're going back to our old scales just the same.

Hi Avery. Finally starting to get settled in. I finally got the internet up and running today - long story.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to fish this time, as I don't have a partner and have never been on the lake. I may try to make it down anyway - I need to make a trip to Academy. I still need the directions to Coosa Landing though. Thanks!!

BTW - this ole Kansas fat boy ain't getting along too well with your Alabama humidity. Most days, one shower just ain't enough!

In the air conditioner. My wife and I went Saturday morning. We were on the water at 5:15. By 6:00 I already had sweat dripping. By 6:30 I was soaked. Left at 8:30. Went home and took a nap.

Lets try the directions for you .
Get on Intersate 59 s. at Ft Payne , stay on I-59 till you get to I-759 .
Stay on I-759 till it comes to the end at the red light . Take a left , stay on this Street till you get to the Dollar Store on left . Turn into their lot and come around it on the left side of the Store . The ramp is behind the Store . If you get lost , call me , 256-390-4892
You will see the Academy Store on the left as you turn at the end of I-759 .

Make 8 more posts, and you're eligible. We fish 3rd Saturday of the month. All of the information you need is in the Alabama Bass Club section of the forum, including registration forms.

It isn't so much a club, as it is members from North Alabama getting together for a day of fishing and fellowship. If you happen to win, or have big fish, the money doesn't hurt either.
