Smith Lake FLW

Well guys got confirmed this week for the April tourney but have never been on the lake and will not get to practice because of business stuff.

What do I need to bring? any info will be rewarded

If you are coming up to Norman in April for the FLW I will return the favor.

Congrats on tourney confirmation Smith has a lot of deep clear water. The water has been down 19' plus all winter long because of drought and it is a Alabama Power lake used to generate power. The water is on it's way back up from what I've been told and with any luck maybe it will be close to full by then. I've had most of my bites fishing natural or chartruse baits. I have a friend that fishes there regular he lives and dies by the carolina rig. Good Luck in April maybe some of these other guys can give you some better tips. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Was not planning on the c-rig but 19' down guess I will have to bring some wts and beads with me just in case

I throw a gunfish at norman and rip it across humps and points for big spots hope this will work at Smith for some fish each morning just want a good limit and let the chips fall where they may.

I have been on every now an then. Last time the ol Ranger was in the water needed some more work. Going to get new trol batts, then waterpump an check for leaks, then get some ins.
