If anyone is looking into getting a new trolling motor Academy Sports at Trussville has their MinnKota All-Terrain foot control 70lb thrust TM for $438.00. Not sure if thats just for the display or not, but they had some new ones in the box also. Just FYI.

The Southern Rally all depends on my boat situation. My new one will not be here till late June, but I have a loaner from a dealer for right now. May have to give the loaner back if it gets sold. I bought a REPO 97' Javelin 379TE that I'm trying to get ready in the next two weeks, if it's ready I'll use it at Guntersville. I'll be turning the 379 around and selling it in late May. I'll know better as the date get's closer. Todd has been bending my ear and my fishing partners ear, Big Dave, about fishing with you guy's. I know Lee from way back and I think I know Avery if he use to be a Bumble Bee salesman down in Sylacauga. If we do not make the rally we will make a few of the T's later in the year. The idea of a rally is guys getting together and having fun. We cook out, tell fish stories, talk about boats/motors/fishing etc. It's a lot of fun meeting guys from all over the place. Some guys, like myself, will be there all week but the majority will arrive sometime Wednesday and leave on Sunday. The Tourney is just a part of the fun so if you don't come to the Tourney part at least come up and spend some time meeting and talking to everyone.
We have an Alabama BBC tourney once a month where we get together and fish but these rallies are special. Hope to see you there.
