foam removal in Xpress boat

Recently purchased a 97 model 18' Xpress to refurb. I discovered the foam under the floor is waterlogged. Does anyone have any good methods to remove the foam? I was hoping I didn't have to cut the whole floor out but it may be the best option. Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes to get that out it has to be "chipped" or "dug" out so you have to expose it , there is a place in florida that sells two part pour in that works great to replace it.

Fastest way I've found to remove it is a wire wheel on a drill. Eats righ thru it. And the wire doesn't have to be all that stiff.

I used the 3lb density on mine ......good suff
