The trim on my gear shifter hasn't worked for quite a while, but until Saturday my bow switch and blinker switch still worked. Put the boat in the water Saturday and none of my 3 trim switches worked. The only switch that works is the one on the motor. I looked at the wires connected to the motor and all look good and firmly connected.
Where do I start diagnosing my problem at?

I had the exact same problem on another boat & it was a wire that lost connection in the harness in behind the shifter going to the front of boat. Simply a connection came loose. May be something to check. If you have current coming of from engine it should be something very easy to find & fix.

My trim switch worked intermittently then quit all together. I ended up taking apart the shifter to get at the switch. The switch will come apart and cleaned the contacts that had carbon build up. Reassembled and worked good as new.
