    Stroker questions...

My next boat, good Lord willing, will be a Stroker. Really like them, even though I have only seen one in person, and that wasn't long

    Some of questions ...

-What speeds can one expect with a stock 225, 250, 300?
-Will they run at relatively high speed in a 1-2' chop?
-I live in the Pacific NW, if I was to buy new, how does warranty work (hopefully not needed, but you never know) get taken care of?
-Are there any Stroker owners in this area?

Thanks for the info guys, appreciate it - Rob

    Re: Stroker questions... (WaYoop)

Speeds depends on lu and ste up a 300= 100+
As far as the waves if you can paddern the waves you can run at speed
I have ran over 110 over white caps
but as with any boat if the waves are space to far or comming from diffrent directions you better slow down
As far as the warrenty the engine would be any dealer and and boat issue
Stroker will advise where to take it local
Not sure of any strokers in your area you can call Chub at Stroker you will enjoy talkint with him 865-983-2482
if I can help you any way I will Rob

    Re: Stroker questions... (Stroker300x)

Thanks for the good info Kurt

On the rough water, just used to being able to run my little Champ at near top speed in mediocre roughness, some boats give you that "is my will up to date" feeling Reminds me of a long time ago - tried to round a point on Lake Michigan in honest 10 footers in my 16' tracker, beat all the waves but one long story..., nobody hurt, and made it to the ramp under power

I believe Stroker makes a quality product and would be proud to join the family.

    Thanks again

    Re: Stroker questions... (Stroker300x)

It was crazy - camping for 4 days on the 4th of July weekend. Big, I mean big, south wind blew non-stop. Fished the bay a couple days, which wasn't very smooth either - partner flew out of the passenger seat while I was surfing swells, told him to hang on Back in the boat with nothing hurt but his pride Finally said f-it, and was determined to round the point and go south to another bay/inlet. Had to eventually square up to the waves to get around the point, nothing like a wall of water breaking over and behind the boat... My partner's look was priceless...still a little gunshy from the day before

    Re: Stroker questions... (WaYoop)

Did make it to the hotspot on the final day and hammerd the smallies.

Back to the present - Older and wiser now, run 20-30+' work boats on the ocean for work, don't take the chances I used to, but have the experience to deal with it if needed.

    thanks again all

There are a couple of Stroker's in the Seattle area. I don't have any contact information but if you get down to the Portland area, I can give you a ride.
