    89 johnson 200 gt

    How do you pull the flywheel? what kind of gear puller do i need? where can i get one? what size bolts do i need?
    can't find the old thread can we make this a sticky?

    You need a harmonic balancer puller, three 5/16" x 3.5" fine thread bolts and 6 sturdy washers. A 1 7/16" impact socket and an impact wrench. Remove the flywheel nut and spray around where the crank shaft comes into the flywheel with PB blaster let it soak in. Coat the 3 bolts with anti sieze grease, slip them into the harmoic balancer puller and attach to the three holes on the flywheel. Hit the large threaded bolt on the puller with the impact wrench and a suitable socket and it should pop off.
