I need to fine either a dark wood grain plastic sheet approx 1/8" thick 12"X6". If not the dark grain pattern then just a black 1/8"X 12"X 6" to redo the panels for the switches pictured in the console

I know this will sound strange, but try a flooring supply company. They have 1/8" thick laminate flooring in various woodgrains that should do the trick, and they come in all different sizes that should meet your needs. Good luck

Dan, That graphite looking stuff would be the bomb on your boat! Check C&O parts site they may have it.![]()
good Idea I will do just that I didn't think of that.
If you want black mirror look you can get plexi glass from any local glass store. It comes in various thickness as well. Cut out your pattern. Once done with that spray paint the back side with gloss black paint and let it dry good. Once done turn it over and mount. If you want graphics, have a local sign shop make a reverse image and stick it on the back

Hey Dan, you can probably get a couple of samples of the flooring at the store and just use them! I got some 6" x 12" samples when we were thinking of doing our floors over. I'd ask for a couple of samples and you'll be all setJamie Doughty

I know it probably would not hold up real well, but they make "contact" paper in a lot of wood grain patterns. Just cut it with scissors and stick it on over what you have.
Some good ideas. I am going to a flooring company tomorrow and check them out for some idea. One thing I got to get these panels done before I go to the lake again.
It also looks like Formica.........if you have a cabinet shop around you might be able to get some scraps from them. I would think it will be more weather resistant than flooring
Let us know how you make out and what you did. Good luck![]()

Well here is the finished panels. I used Lexan primed and painted Black.
Turned out OK I guess. At least the panels are not cracked up on the corners.
