2005 Stratos 200FS Hull Q?

Was the 200FS hull the same as the bass hull (201) or was it specifically built for the FS?

It's actually based on the javelin Renegade 20 FS hull.....which had some 400 Javelin similarities.

Not a true 200 bass hull tho. Great boat!

I agree with Todd. Having a 05 200FS has everything to do with it.

Handles great. Stable at all speeds. I've got the 225HO Etec and the combination is fantastic. It may not keep up to the 200s or 201s, but it's fun to pass the runabouts.

I'm not a tournament fisherman, so the room for the family more than makes up for the lack of deck and storage. That windshield is great in the rain too.

If you're looking at a 200FS to purchase, it's a good one.

200FS/225HO ETEC

If you don't mind...what top end are your running? Can you hit 70 mph in it if you were to set-up for top end (light)?

I've hit 69 gps with just me (a big me), half tank gas, two 15 pound anchors and light tackle load.

When we do get to get out, it's usually with the family, so not much chance to play with setups or go fast.

with me, wife, and daughter (600lbs) we get 64-65. Pretty respectable. Cruise at 35-45 and get great gas mileage. Used to have a 92 startos 18ft FS with 120 rude and the etec beats it in gas mileage by a mile even with a bunch more boat.

Prop is a Turbo Lightning (came on the boat). Good out of the hole, killer midrange, good pull all the way to top end. I haven't thought about trying other props since this one fits the bill.

Makes me wish that Stratos still made them. I'm eventually going to get a new ride, but the 486SF is only rated for a 150. I'd like a little more speed. My renegade 18FS only gives me 55ish with the 150 on it.

I don't fish tournaments either, but I'd like to have a little more power when pulling big tubes and stuff.

I wish they did too, It was a neat lay-out. Pretty good fishing platform for a Fish-n-Ski and it was just FLAT GOOD LOOKIN!

I have always thought the 486 although very nice is underpowered. They should at LEAST have a 175 hp max IMO.

2002 200 f/s with a 225 HO. Love the boat. Best Speed was 71 GPS with a full load of fuel. 8" detwiler jack plate - Center line of Prop even with the pad. Turning a custom Raker 24 Pitch.

I wish they still made this boat. Best fish and ski ever made!!!

I'm working on it..........we've sold the fire out of 200 Combo Pro Crafts cause there's no 200 FS Stratos......there is a void there!

If you get them to make it again, I'll station myself at FT Campbell to specifically purchase said boat from you. The F/S fits my needs perfectly, but these 18ft are just too small, you can really only get 3 or 4 people on them before it gets crazy.

Provided it isn't $857,388,476, I'd have to trade in my Javelin for it
