Just received boarding ladder from Stratos with no installation instructions. Dealer 100 miles away and not much immediate help. I have never seen a ladder on a Stratos. Does anybody have any pictures or instructions for this?
Thanks

Nice picture. That should get the point over.
Thanks
I ALSO HAVE A 2005 295. LIKE THE LADDER. HOW MUCH DID IT COST? TELL HOW THE MOUNTING WENT AND WHAT KIND OF SCREWS DID YOU USE?
Installation complete. Not the same ladder as Todd shows in an earlier picture.

Todd, Is the picture you posted the Champion ladder you have mentioned before?
that install looks a little scary to me what happens if someone slips and you still have the motor running remember any motor in neutral will take a while to stop spinning and there are some that slowly spin. also it seems that you could have turned the supports to fit like the one in Todd's pic, if not I would have sent it back, nice looking ladder just a really scary place to put one.![]()

PS: I just noticed that your ladder has the supports going into a part of the ladder not welded on like Todd's is you probably could have loosened them and turned them to fit like Todd's. maybe should have sent pics of it before installing it![]()
Just that I have NEVER ever seen a ladder that close to the motor or in a position like that where a person can hit if the motor is turned a little.

That's the only place I could get the ladder to fit so I assumed that was where it was supposed to go. The bottom legs are not long enough when the ladder is aligned like Todd's picture becase of the top rung. The engine does not interfere with the ladder folding or climbing it when turned. I thought it was fine but, maybe not.
That's why there is a big warning sticker near the console that says to shut the motor down anytime swimmers are near....I was brought up (family's been playing on the water since the 50's, a few relatives were on collegiate Ski teams) that you always shut the motor down when near a swimmer. If the motor isn't running, then it'd be very hard for it to hurt you. It could be done, but only if you slip and fall onto it or something. I think it looks great like that and after seeing it, I am thinking of having done to my 201.![]()
What AB said (except I don't own a 201)![]()
