Setting Throttle to Achieve WOT with Hot Foot, need a little help

As I was working on a few things on the boat today I realized for the first time that when the hot foot is floored the throttle on the motor still has a little ways to go before it hits the stop on the throttle cam. Should the throtttle be hitting the little throttle stop pin when the hot foot is at its stopper? I am only getting 5600 RPMS trimmed all the way out with a 25 T1 prop in cool weather and motor raised to right at 2.5" on the plates , 20 PSI H20 pressure. Is there an easy way to adjust the throttle in conjuction with the Hotfoot on this 200 HPDI 3.3?

    No one has any tips?

Is it normal to be at 5000 RPMS at WOT with the motor trimmed all the way down and only have it go up to 5500-5600 at max trim?

You could also ask on the motor forum (whichever brand you are running)....

I can get 6000 with the same setup. But I ve been meaning to check and make sure I am getting WOT because the last three quater doesn't seem to make a difference between that and full.

You need to remove what ever to look at the throttle plate. IF the throttle plate is flat inside of the throttle body then that is all that matters. It should probably be NEAR the throttle stop, but does not mean it has to hit it. If the throttle plate is flat in the bore then that is all that you can expect for CORRECT FUNCTION of the throttle operating system.
