I'm running a yamaha 25m. The prop has a few dings and the best i've hit is 68.6 at about 6k rpms with a moderate load.
What rpms are you getting? 26p might be too much prop? You should be able to hit 65 loaded heavy, i'd think.

I'm hitting around 5600 rpm with the 26 tempest. If I went to a 25 pitch prop, which one should I get. Tempest, Fury, T1 or M series???

I am using a yamaha 141/2 x 25 and i have no problem on that speed when water
conditions permit. I did have my prop checked for balance and the man did put a little
more cup in it.![]()

The 25M Yamaha is recommended for that setup. MY 98 zx 202c with 200 vmax will do around 68 mph gps

The T1 will give you more bow lift, and that is what you want. The 25P Trmpest Plus is about the same prop but cheaper. I have a 25M on you 2000 202C and I can hit 67- 68 loaded
So would you go with the 25M or the 25 T1

I'd like to hear input from someone who has used both as well.

I ran the 25M on my zx202c with an new 04 (I believe) 200 VMAX and ran mid-60's with normal tournament load with just myself. Running light, gas, etc., I'd run upper 60's but never reached 70 on GPS. Might have been able to increase a couple MPH with jackplate fine tuning...
My understanding is that the T1 is designed to be run on the Big Block HPDI's. It has a larger diameter, 15 1/4" I believe. I would say go with the 25M. Check and see what Mark says in the prop section.
