I was thinking bout buying one to put on my boat. Ive seen them in person on bigger skeeters. They were installed with a bracket bolted to the jack plate. I dont have a jackplate on my skeeter. So would the brackect just be installed on the motoer mount bolt?
They make different mounts, some of which will mount between the motor and the boat, so you can find one that will work for you

Ya i seen the different mounts on minnkotamotors...but im wondering shich one would work the best. How does the bracket that goes behind the motor and transom work? Wouldnt their be a gap on the other side if there a bracket on one side?
There's a space for the opposite side to equalize the distance.

oh so theres a spacer...makes sense. I'm having a hard time deciding on if i wanna go with the talon or the power pole. i might run into problems backing my boat into my garage with the talon installed.
i gotta do some more research.
