Any differences between the ZX 2003, 2004, and 2005 models?

Just wondering if the 03,04,05 share the same body and layout. If not, what are the differences? What would be the best value boat purchasing a new SX190 or buying a used 05 ZX200? Thank you

I believe they are basically the same (changes would be minor -- cosmetics, compartments, etc).

I would personally get the ZX200 if I were you.

If it is a TZX200 note the T in front of the Z, the front deck sub structure is wood
unlike the rear deck having the aluminum supports. The ZX200 models are aluminum sub structure front decks if I am not mistaken.

Are you sure about that? I looked at my 2004 Skeeter catalog from when I bought my TZX200, and they did not make a ZX200 that year (only the TZX). I was told the TZX construction was identical to the ZX, and that the only difference between the TZX and the large ZX models was the switches (toggle vs. digital) and a few other cosmetic things.

the TZX boats have no wood in them at all, the only difference is the swicthes on the dash.

Added a recess for the trolling motor pedal in my old 2004 tzx 200 and what did I find WOOD, wood cross braces from the deck to the floor. I was under the impression also that there was no wood anywhere in the boat also. I am not sure about the pre or post 2004 decks, but mine had wood. If you look at the zx model 200 front deck it has the aluminum like the rear deck. I believe the TZX models
had the cheaper front deck. I am no skeeter expert, I owned my TZX200 for three years and sold it when I had a baby. It was a great boat and I am not bashing I was trying to point out the difference that I found with mine compaired to the
ZX model.
