A new ZX190 is 24'4" with no break away tongue, so yours should be close to that. Measure your garage and multiply the depth of it by 1.413. That will tell you what the length of it at a diagonal is.
I'm guessing you have the stock 12" JP? If so you should be ok. I stored a 97 ZX176 in my 2 Car Townhouse garage for 4yrs.
Just went out and taped my 99 ZX 185c Dual console and she measures 24' 4" without swing away tongue. I have to turn her at an angle to fit her in my double car garage. Done it so many times I can back her all the way in with the truck except for the last foot and a half.

A 1997 Skeeter ZX185c will need 23'-10" (give or take an 1") to fit straight in. 23'-7" if you can back it in with the motor between the studs in the back. Mine is 24' deep from wall to door. Be careful if you build a garage because you lose 8"-12" I.D. with studs and garage door.
