    ??? About 2006 ZX225

I sold my ZX200 Friday. Should be getting my new 225 w/225HPDI in a few days. Hope you guys can answer some questions. Prop/setup.. RPM's, Mph? I am really interested in a TXP. Other than balance and blueprint, what should I have done to it? Who is running a hydraulic plate? What brand, who did the install, how much improvement did you see? Can you post pics of your setup? Does anyone sand the pad? If so, how much do you sand, and does it help? Thanks in advance.

    Re: ??? About 2006 ZX225 (GM482V)

I am one of the few guys on here with a hydraulic plate. i got the bobs 10" with 2" spacers. that jackplate gained me about 2 mph. Last sunday me and a friend went and tested some props. i have a 25, 26, and 27 Turbo TXP. i ran from 75.8 to 77.3 at 5700-6000 rpms. I have never sanded the pad. i have been across enopugh sand and stumps to take care of that. more than welcome to shoot me an email. i will help you out however i can. BTW, i can get the turbo props for you.
