The joke in my old club was that stress cracks were in the owner's manual because they were just a part of running a Skeeter. (Lots of guys ran them in the club). I have a 1994 ZX175 and my brother has a 2000 ZX225 and both have some stress cracks -- all cosmetic, not structural -- and in the usual places. My question is: Are others getting the stress cracks, too, and if you are, are they hurting you when you go to trade/resell? Thanks.

Now, don't take that as a bash against Ranger. In realty, I've been told the problem is the government. Each of the last few years they outlaw some of the chemicals that make fiberglass easy to work with. The more of these good ingredients they take out, the more we'll see the cracking.
Not that I know, I'm just repeating what the production supervisor for a boat company told me.

Mine aren't that bad and are in the usual places, around the center of the boat, on the spontons. You can tell they are just cosmetic.
