ANYONE EVER MOUNTED A 898 inside the recess on the BOW?...pics if so...??

i want a bigger screen, but dont want to have to mount it on the deck...
i currently have my 581i mounted inside the recess above the Trolling Motor and works EXCELLENT...keeps a clean deck...

I just saw a pic today of Swindle's boat with his graph mounted like that in Outdoor Life. His mount "bridged" over the well. Probably a custom job but seemed easy enough to have made.

I meant in a gambler with the built in recess....sorry....

I figured that. His has a recessed well also. If you look at the pic I'm sure it could be adapted for a G boat. I was planning on having one made this spring I liked the idea so much.

Why not use a big ram mount and mount it to either side of the TM at the very front of the deck? It would get it closer to you and still makes for a clean install IMO. I don't see how you could fit an 898 in that recess
