I saw you had a little trouble with your gold coming off...Did you fix it, try to take it off, or just live with it. Im looking at a gambler with the gold package, but the grab rails gold is coming off in places.Just wondering can you redo the gold???
We have a few places in this area that does that plating and I can tell you IT AIN"T CHEAP.
I haven't done anything with mine yet.....will most likely get ambitious one of these days and just polish the gold off completely. From what I can see, the grab rails are the standard highly polished stainless (or chrome?) that come on Gamblers without the gold package and then they plate or anodize the gold on. To me it's the same as trying to paint chrome or anything that's highly polished, it just won't work.
