i think this has been talked about before but i cant find it..............

i have a 98 INT with a 2253L. it has the regular lower Not a SM or TM. is there anything i can do to get past the 80 MPH mark without blowing it out. i think a nose cone might slow the boat down. i am pushing the 80 mark now with some left and really dont want to wind up on the bank or in the drink.

You'll be fine as long as you stay under 85 MPH. Been there none that.

nevermind toasted the lower first tourney of the year! knocked the skeg completely off. Just picked up a TM!
