Guys, I'm looking at a rig with a 250xs, not a G-Boat, but it's an 04 250xs, how is the long track record on these yet? How many guys have blown one up on here? Didn't want to post on the merc board, just thought I'd check with the Gambler crew...

i dont know of that many that have popped... the 04 is in my opinion the strongest of the 250xs motors on the top end....the 06 is a beast out of the hole, and midrange....but wont stay up with the 04 on top end....willie ran one for a long time, and i think he will tell you it was really one bad azz motor....
