Thinking about getting a power pole for my 1996 191 but with all the brackets I'm not sure which one I need. I have a hydraulic slidemaster jackplate and am wanting to mount it on the jackplate. Anyone have any experience with this and know what I need to get in the way of bracket, bolts, etc?
Well I just put a power pole in a 1991 184DCR with a Bobs Hyd jackplate and a Black Max Mercury 175, let me got the bracket number and let you know tomorrow Tuesday.....
Power pole should tell you which bracket by your jack plate and motor. On a slide master, at least the one on my last boat, I removed on of the tightening brackets on the side and the power pole mounting bracket replaced it. You use the existing bolts on the side of your jack plate. Hope that makes since. They are easy to put in and don't take that long. Good luck.
