Location of thru the hull tranducser

I have a 2000 203 and am upgrading the elecs. and would like to know if anyone might know where the old transducer is mounted?
I am adding a 998SI on the console and 788DI on the bow. ( I can't wait to try them out)

You do not want to go threw the hull with a si unit mount it on your jack plate or back of boat and for the front mount it on your trolling motor. The shoot threw hull is under your batteries i would just leave it.

yes you want the transducer to shoot thru the hull --it should be in the bottom down by your livewell intake pump
the s.i. transducer will be mounted on the transom somewhere like at the bottom of your jack plate--if you search earlier threads on here there is some real good ideas and pics
