25 4 blade txp on 99 202

I wonder how it would react. I've thought about buying a 3 blade TXP to try on my 202. I've always had my best luck with Tempest props.

Don't think you'll do better than a well tuned 26 tempest on that hull/motor.

I know where not comparing apples to apples ,bbuuuttt I went from a 27 tempest plus to a Turbo TXP-3 30pitch and went from 77gps to 85.4 gps...

Understand.....but...no comparison. Hulls are waaayyyy too different.

Pat knows Champs and I have had best results with Tempests also...

But if you want, with a 225, I have a 24 TXP 3blade on yam.225 hpdi., Txp have a stronger pitch and a 24 is like a 26! But with the TXP I could raise the motor up a lot! I'm at 1- 5/8" below pad! It helped top end handling a lot! Go for it - what the heck!!

You are right Lea I had an 86 184 super v and the best props for that boat were a 25pitch trophy plus and a 25 pitch tempest plus , seemed to work the best on the hull...
