    My console

I may be biased, but I think this is just the best console design that Champion has made. JMHO.

Yep, I like it. I have a 2000 191 and all of the switches are mounted on the right gunwale about top of thigh high. I am constantly flipping switches on and off unintentionally. Makes for a very clean looking console though.

All of my switches are right where you see them. I never bump them, except for one pumpout switch in a solitary location by the kill switch that I bump with my elbow sometimes. Please post a pic of yours so I can see what you're talking about.

+1... very good design here. Only thing I would like is to be able to mount a bigger graph.

    A clean, uncluttered '00 191 Tournament console ......

...once you memorize which switch is which down at your right side......or...why do I keep turning on the bilge pump???

Time to go to the optometrist Lea, even Stevie Wonder can see the difference between a 2000 console and a 2005 console. The graph location is recessed in the 2005. Much like yours.

I realized and deleted, Fred....However I do agree that the switches on the console, rather than on right side under gunwale, is preferable...

Just kidding with you my friend . Although the design of the switch on the freeboard looked good they saw the errors of their ways and moved them back to the console where they belong. Smooch!!

I was just bragging on you in the lounge too!!

    Re: My console (Lea)

Lea, Randy, I have my graph hung on my fairing(ferring?) so it will clear my wheel, plus I didn't want to cut any holes for it. I think that 198 console is awesome. My question is, does the steering wheel interfere with your view of your graph when you're haulin ass and following a river channel on your gps? I depend on my trails when I have to get back up a long stretch thru some flooded timber.

    His console colors are nice.

And I was amazed at the convience of the tilt steering in a boat!

I know what a motorcycle fairing is, but have never heard of a fairing on a boat. What are you referring to?

The windshield. Sorry. I thought they called them that on boats too.

Hey Roy sorry to see you are missing your Champion hub cover for the steering wheel. Believe everybody loses at least one. TBJ

I did get a new one this last spring, but it's not the XXV one that was original on this boat. C&O hooked me up.
