    Fuel Selector Switch

    Guys,
Ashamed to say that I never really noticed this before, '07 202, at the console with the other switches (lights, power, etc) there is a switch that says fuel, port in the up position and stb in the down position. Does anybody know if this switch actually has a purpose or does anything? Might it be tied in to the Smartcraft gauges for a tank reading of how full? Already discovered that the fuel selector switch below the throttle is useless, the valve in the bilge has no moving parts. I have no idea why that thing is even there. I did notice tonight when digging in the bilge that the port tank was almost full and the starboard side was about half full. My concern is that the motor is pulling more from the starboard tank No idea how or why) and i could end up in trouble one day. I always put the same amount of gas in each tank and was under the impression that the motor was pulling evenly. Any suggestions? Also got water leaking in somewhere, filled the bilge, no visible leaks, forced water in the livewell pump and nothing. Throw it out there if you got any other ideas.............

    Thanks in advance,
    Brad

    Re: Fuel Selector Switch (ncbass)

If its like mine, it switches the fuel gauge (indication of how much fuel is in each tank).

    Thanks, Billy
