    loosing water pressure

Is it possible to have your motor to high that in turns you will loose water pressure? I dont know exact motor height just guessing 1in to 3/4in below pad anyway I jacked it up until I had 15lbs of water pressure (smartcraft guages) and ran the boat. This was on the river so they were straight long runs playing around. I took the boat out to the lake today (narrow and crooked) and overheat buzzer came on throttle down and its fine. I started paying close attetion to everything and figured out it is loosing pressure in turns causing to overheat. Is this normal or should I take to mercury dealer to have checked out? Motor runs fine and has plenty of pressure on straight runs. 06 225 pro xs torque master gearcase 27 txp. thanks

Yep, you'll lose water pressure in the turns. If you're going to be running like that a lot, I'd drop it 1/4" and see what happens.
