    wet sanding

Is there a place to look and find how to do it, or would it be best to have someone do it? I took old numbers off and underneath the numbers it looks like a new boat. The numbers were on the top.

Basically start out with 1000 grit and work up to 2500 grit, add a dab of dawn dish soap to the water. For bad fade or hazing some start out with 800 grit. Then buff and polish followed with a quaity wax. Its not hard just time consuming, with a satisfying reward in the end.

You'll not bring back the same color as whats under the numbers but it will be darn close. Your rig will look sweet when done.

    Before I started....

After wet sand, buff and wax.....
