    Remove a console??

    Any one know if you can remove the passenger console from a 96 488 Ranger? I mean without damaging the boat...

    I took mine out and the glue is very difficult to seperate. It took some of the gel with it.

    To me it was. I lost a glove box and co angler lost a windshield but I feel like I gained a lot of room. I may put it back in during december-feb if the temps are horrible but they rarely are down here. I just put my wallet, cell phone and junk like that in a little waterproof container. Keep all the hardware. You can always put it back on if you don't like it.

    they are glued on with an epoxy….tough to get off, from what ive heard..you REALLY have to want to remove it...
