3rd time out using a "a rig". When we saw the 2 boats in the same cove we were fishing, catching fish on a "a rig" we said what the hell. Tied one on and loaded the boat. This included a #7.63 which was big fish for the tournament. Now one might think why would I need a rod for this since I caught all of my fish on a rod the I had. I think I was lucky and I feel the need for a softer rod. Do not want to spend more than $200. Any sugestions?
I use the 8 ft Skeet Reese Flipping/Pitching stick. It is a great rod for the price and will do the job nicely. Will not break either - if it does, it got dinged pretty hard somehwere along the way.
I use a 7'8" flipping stick with a Chronarch and 65lb power pro

Skeet reese 7'10" magumn crank bait rod 65 lb. braid curado 201e baitcast reel. seems to cast far and works great.
