    I would do it for the right amount of money. Besides it would be real fun if you could just base jump off the top with a parachute!!! Hell people pay good money for such thrills. What could be better than doing this and getting paid? You would think with todays technology, however, they would have a robot or some type of automated device to do this job.

    You would think that a parachute would be mandatory for that kind of climbing. Certianly high enough to get away with. Sure would beat the terminal velocity of one impaling the ground. Probably easier than climbing down too!

    My dad use to do that to replace the red lights up top, but none he went up were over 1000'.

    It keeps them for hitting there heads if they slip and knocking themselves out. Not there for protection from an inadvertant fall.
