Made a long run which I make quite often but this time I got the steady beep alarm about 3/4 of the way to my destination.I had it trimmed up all the way and was hitting 5500 thru most of the ride until I heard the alarm.Water pressure gauge was okay but I was shooting a high rooster tail, about 2 ft over the motor.
Only difference was that I had a good size co-angler (275# + all his gear).Would the extra weight and the warmer water temps cause overheating on a long run?
Motor is a 1992 Evinrude 200STLENS (3.1)
