Was @ the Chicago store just looking around, asked a worker: Why dont you have Alabama rigs out?

A: We have them but we cant bring them out of the back per Management, they want them only out during our Spring sale.

I told him: Thats a great plan let everyone shop elesewhere.

Obviously you've not met a BPS manager. They all have ACT scores over 30 (more like 12-18,) and have been promoted to their greatest level of incompetence.

Nashville had them out for $25 a piece. I think the people buying them for that much are fools. Tons of companies are selling them for around $10-15 and an A-rig can be made for $1-2.

Agreed...just silly. If you have the materials you can make them for a couple bucks. I don't have the lead pouring molds or anything like that so I just bought them from Barlow's Tackle. I got a 10 pack of unfinished heads w/ wires for $40 and then $5 for the duo lock snaps/swivels. That turns out to be around $5 bucks per rig. $10-15 is fair for a rig after all the components and time put in but the makers that are charging $25-30 per rig is just gouging the crap out of people.

They are selling them at the BPS store here in East Tennessee also... $25.00 a pop with 5 wires and we can only use three in Tennessee

and then some people just like to bitch. My BPS has had them out for awhile now but I also know they are starting to stock up for the Spring sale and will advertise itmes cheaper so they need to build up stock or the same people will bitch about being out of sale items
