2 questions.....

#1 Am I going to need a new thrust washer to replace my 23M with a 24 Tempest Plus on my '06 Yamaha HPDI?

#2 When the heck did they start puttin gold in Yamaha Ring Free??... that's the only reason I can think of for it being $45.00 a quart!!!

1. Shouldn't need a new one unless the old one is wore out or damaged.

2. Can't answer as I don't use it.

Never hurts to check when your there.........can always change it if there is a problem though. You wouldn't think so though

Actually #1 is Yes

The 23M is a Yamaha prop thus using a Yamaha thrust washer.
The 24 Tempest is a Merc prop that will need the thrust washer that comes with the Merc to Yamaha hub kit.
