    Ventilation Ring

    Rusty,

I see a few posts in regards to the ventilation ring, is one needed when using a renegade prop. I have a 96 Evinrude 150 and I used a renegade last year without one. Would not using one cause problems to the engine?

    Thanks

    Re: Ventilation Ring (THE WITCHDOCTOR)

The hub on the Gade is smaller than the Rakers thus needing a filler sometimes to prevent the blow out sometimes experienced when getting on plane. If you're not haveing problems with ventilating or blow out then just go with it!
