poor performance from engine, changed plugs, old ones not all carboned up. Now found #3 and #2 no spark swapped #1 and #3 coil and same. Suggestions? Stator?
poor performance from engine, changed plugs, old ones not all carboned up. Now found #3 and #2 no spark swapped #1 and #3 coil and same. Suggestions? Stator?
My buddy ran his boat with the new spark plugs installed and said it didnt surge any more and seemed fine. But my question is does this engine idle on 4 cyl then the other 2 come in at a different rpm?
The surging we felt was definatly spark because you could feel it kick in hard not slow pick up like fuel.
Any help greatly appreceated

The engine idles on 4, the other two kick in when put in gear.
