    2006 HPDI fuel lines.. are they E-10 safe?

    Hey guys my 97 Hawk with an '06 HPDI.. are the fuel lines on the HPDI E-10 safe?
    Old Boat - 2005 520DVX 2011 Merc 225 Pro XS, HDS 8 and 9 Touch, Bobs JP, 25p Tempest

    Old Boat - 2018 Z520C Cup Package, 112 Ultrex, HDS 9 and 12 Carbon, Powerpoles, Merc 250 Pro XS, 25p Fury

    Current - 2019 Z520C Cup 112 Ultrex, 4 Stroke 250 Pro XS Merc, Slidemaster JP, Powerpoles 23p Fury

    If they are gray / red stripe then no they are not. If they are gray / blue stripe then they are safe.

    Good I know mine have blue stripes or letters on them, I will take another look tomorrow.

    Correction, they are Mercury marine lines, with red letters.. I am assuming these will need replaced.

    Yep, you need to get them out of the boat. Be sure you get "alcohol/Ethanol rated" lines when you replace them. You need to go from the tank all the way to the input of the motor, primer bulb too. I would also add a Fuel/Water Separator in line between the tank and the primer bulb, just be sure it's at least 90 Gallon Per Hour throughput.

    The boat has a water separator on it, I am going to run it the way it is tomorrow and I guess try to get some new fuel line tomorrow afternoon.
