    limp mode?

    I have a 2001 175hp hpdi yamaha. When I put it into gear it doesnt kick out of the limp mode and still is running on the reduced power. computer says neutral safety switch is working fine. what can cause this?

    Overheating or low oil level but the warning alarm would sound too.
