I am looking into buying a 2001 johnson that is still in the box.. I was wanting some feed back on how much I should be willing to pay for this motor.. Motor is brand new , not a refurb or used, brand new.. I think it might be a good idea to buy but not before asking the board....
What type of warranty included? Can you list the model # for the guys?
The dealer said they carry a full factory warranty through Bomb.. I am not sure of the serial number because I have not sen it yet.. If possible give me a price for all style motors.. So I can have a idea when I go and try to deal with the guy...
Mike, I can't help you on the price, but the more info you can give, the more help they will be able to provide. Rusty will be on later and he can tell you more. The model # will give him the details he needs. If you can call and get the model number it probably would be a great help. It is on the outside of the box.
That way you can be sure it isn't something like a counter-rotation, extra-long shaft, etc.
