I just pull them out of the box in put them in. Not sure if doing that is right or wrong.
they should be properly gapped

BTW you know you can pick them up at Checker auto (or probably most any auto store) for much less (around $2 last time I got some) than a dealer want to sell them to you for.![]()

oh for sure...I never buy from the dealer for that very reason...They get me when I need major service I don't dare tackle myself...

I'm pretty sure if you buy the correct plugs they are pregapped, IIRC it's something like .35-.4 I knew the number when I changed mine, and I checked every plug, both that came out and that went in, everyone was within .02
