Sorry my first post is looking for help, but I need help changing the lower swivel mount bushing. My question is can you change the bushing with out disturbing the top mount. I cant figure out how to get the lower mount bolts out.
Thanks

In order to properly perform this repair, you're going to need to remove the powerhead, gearcase, adapter plate, and driveshaft housing.
ALL swivel bushings and seals should be replaced at the same time- there's likely wear to the others as well.
This is also a good time to consider replacement mounts (they'll be out or accessible).
STRONGLY recommend that you have an OEM repair manual on hand to use as your guide, if you're attempting this as a "DIY" project.![]()
