    Verado chug under load

I am having a problem with my 250 Verado since getting it out of winter storage, it starts and looks to run fine until you put the hammer down and then at around 2500 rpm it just shakes and beeps.

I was 2000 km from home when I found this problem, but a local merc guy was able to check things out and didn't find anything in the computer. His guess was a fuel line that is in mid section, when he switched it, it didn't look broken, but it did look swelled.

After switching it, it still has the problem. Now that I am home, I am going to switch the gas and try a new AGM before bugging my Merc guy here, but is there anything else I should look at. I should also mension he changed the oil as well when he was looking at the motor.

Can you provide your engine serial number? This will help to properly identify your engine, and also may help to determine if several potential causes are "pertinent" to your SPECIFIC engine.

    Thanks for looking at it.

I do know of the new linkage recall and I will get that done when I take it in. With it just being spring here in Canada, I don't want to overload the tech if it is something I can do now to fix it then get the recall done when they are less busy.

When you take it in.... have the Shift Bellcrank stud taken care of.

Also, be SURE to get PRINTOUTS of the following reports from the Computer Diagnostic System (they WILL contain information that can assist in determining the cause):

    -RUN HISTORY
    -Freeze Frame (Fault) HISTORY
    -FAULT SECONDS Counters

If a solution is not apparent... I'd be happy to review them by email, and offer suggestions.

The engine is obviously in Guardian at the point you're noticing the performance problem/warning horn.
