    Shooting with a spotting scope?

Let me start this by saying my wife and I are just getting into taking outdoor pics (shooting in general). We just got an adapter to let us mate our T2i to a Nikon spotting scope. What settings should we start at? The auto focus can't work with the scope, has to be done with the scope itself. Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't want you to feel like we are ignoring you but I dont think anyone has any info to help. Just guessing but this is where I would start

Put camera in auto, switch lens to manual and go to infinity focus, then use your spotting scope to try to get something in focus. Shoot and see where you are at. Then adjust from there. Again I have no idea but that is where I would start. Doe your T2 have the live view (where you can view what you are shooting on the LCD screen)? If so that might make it a bit easier to get right.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, the camera has the live screen. This kind of photography has a name, digiscoping (internet is a great thing). What I have found is to have the f setting low and the ISO high (our camera goes to 6400). Cant use the f setting as the adapter locks into the body and then to the scope. I took a couple of pics, Ill try to put them on here.
