Just wondered if anyone has any idea how the bite is at Chicot lately. Heading to the state park for some R&R next week. I'm sure it's not on fire....It's been pretty slow every place that I have fished lately. Might try to get on a few good bream beds too, and have a little fish-fry.
I'd think frying them would be overkill. Anything that comes out of Chicot right now is already boiled. Just add salt and pepper.
I think the new secret color is "A-Rig"..........

Surely there's still a few alive there. If it's too bad, we will just lay around in the a/c all week...pretty much what i've been doing around the house anyway lately.

Yes, I do. I still don't catch fish too good though, most of the time.
